‘ My work is rooted in researching, journeying and documenting place in connection with memory, ownership of space and identity. Drawing is a key element to my practice and sits alongside autobiographical photography to explore the value and differences of digital and physical realms. My work is often influenced by people, stories and narratives that are discovered in my research, which can change or warp the perception we have with a place. Specific locations and repetitive journeys allow me to develop and push modes of documentation, thinking about how the  personal and emotional connection to a place can be documented. Creating a personal archive of moments in time is an important part of my creative process and it allows me to connect to memory and identity. I enjoy using a wide variety of mediums throughout my work including printmaking, installation and video to allow for playful overlaps in time.’
